Why outsource your medical billing??
Are you or your staff bumfuzzeled, bewildered, or just plain agitated when it’s time to do the medical billing in your office???According to the New England Journal of Medicine a Provider has 43.7% gross in overhead and billing. It cost a provider approximately $6.00 to $12.00 to submit or resubmit paper claims, then never sure about the accuracy of the claim. With paper claims a provider may wait 30 to 90 days to receive his payment, if all things submitted were correct. There is a 30% error rate on paper claims that result in delays and lost time for you and your support staff. Not submitting a claim correctly, you may spend up to 1 hour, maybe more, per rejected claim on the phone with the insurance company. Providers write off somewhere between 25 - 30 thousand dollars a year of unpaid claims. Claims that were not paid may be due to , late filing, no time to call insurance company, incorrect patient/provider information, just to name a few.
